I’m finally getting around to sharing the third batch of photos from this little mini-series! Most of the following shots are from Coit Tower and the surrounding North Beach district. It’s one of the most invigorating feelings, waking up in the city. I probably stood by this window for over 30 minutes off and on as I got ready for the day :) It’s so fun to spy on the city as it comes to life.
Surprisingly, I’d never even been in the parking lot of Coit Tower for my whole life until this little trip with my auntie. I’d been near it randomly, but it was nice to finally see what was inside.
We went early-ish, before breakfast, so there was only one couple on the observation deck with us. The tower offers a terrific view, even through the fog. Had the day been clear, both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate would have been visible, but as it was, we could just see the Bay Bridge. No complaints though! I’d like to go up to the top again on a clear day, maybe with someone who’s never been before. But after that I believe I’ll wait until I’m 65 and/or a resident, so I can ride the overpriced elevator at a discounted rate ;)
