today i went through sf, pacifica, half moon bay, and santa cruz, ate amazing ice cream (again), met a lady from austria, ate half a basket of organic strawberries without washing them while driving down the 1, stopped multiple times to stand on the edge of the united states and gaze out at the vast pacific and came to a definite conclusion: ours is the most beautiful state.

April is a month best described in pictures.
So many wonderful things were squeezed into my 34 days at home… April was full and busy in the best way. There were coffee dates and lunch dates, in-n-out dates and yogurt dates with friends I consider more like family. There were trips to the City and days spent enjoying my own city. There were nights in watching Downton Abbey (I finally got into this!) and eating brownies, and nights out having dinners with family or going to college group at church.
And the biggest event of April… there was a wedding. My best friend got married and I was so proud, honored, thankful, and blessed to be a part of it. Caitie was the most beautiful bride, the venue was perfect, the rain stayed away, and we had the best evening. I was a bridesmaid for the first time too! Grant and Caitie had the best wedding party if I do say so myself… we’d all basically grown up together, so the dynamic was super fun. I don’t know if you’ve yet watched your best friend get married, but it’s a beautiful memory that will stay with me forever. Even now I’m smiling just thinking about it!
I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the past month… there are several things I’ll be blogging about in the weeks to come :) It was just too hard to get everything together and write when April was going by so quickly!
