july / the month in instagrams

01 This month contained lots of studying. I became a junior in college, so that’s cool.

02 Some quality time was spent with my friends Ruth and Meegan. Lots of picture taking and ice cream eating.

03 My family took a little day trip to Kansas City towards the beginning of the month. I was a good sport and let them eat at Arthur Bryant’s for lunch. Not my ideal meal by any means, but presidents have eaten there, so, you know. P.S. For dinner I ate a large salad at Whole Foods ;)

04 The craziest event of July was finding out last minute (like, 26 hours last minute) that we would be driving both cars to the place I call home and staying for several weeks. Insert all the happiest emojis here. It meant almost 2000 miles of driving split between my brother and I, but oh, so worth it.

05 A happy by-product of being home is that I get to attend my good friend’s wedding next weekend! Originally I had to send my RSVP card saying I regretfully declined, but the second I found out I’d be home after all I messaged her momma and asked if I could change my response :) Yippee!! I was not thrilled to have to miss it, and now I won’t!

P.S. I’m excited to be participating in The August Break again this year! Look for the day one post soon!

  1. I do a similar post each month, I love how you have the caption pop up when you scroll over the image! And thanks for the August Break info, I think I’ll try to participate! :)

    • Thanks, Theresa! That’s just a wordpress.com thing, so I can’t take credit for it ;) I looked at your post… looks like you had a fun month!! I’m excited to see how the August Break goes for you! It’s so fun; this will be my second year participating.
