the best way to start the first morning of november… at the farmer’s market.
the best way to start the first afternoon of novemer… at the berkeley marina.
we made a point to walk past my favorite door in the city on our way to church this morning :)
this is where i just sat through my first ever college class. city and regional planning, 112 wurster.
micah: white pepper chocolate chip + strawberry agave. me: cinnamon + lavender + black sesame.
lame photo (heads, anyone?) but amazing experience. all sons & daughters at the regency ballroom in the city.
no matter how late the night before, i still really love mornings.
i had the best time walking around campus taking photos with my friend natasha, a fellow blogger and birkenstock-wearer.
later, berkeley. i miss you already.
i’m basically having a dreamy morning, driving around town in my aunt’s subaru, grocery shopping, listening to dave brubeck, and drinking this delicious drink.
post office shadows.
a direct quote from weather.com provides the reason why i am wearing socks and birkenstocks today: “a potent blast of arctic air is plunging into the nation’s mid-section….” this sort of thing would of course happen when i’ve barely been back here for two days :/
my fingers are numb, my camera lens is frosted over, and the caramel is frozen on the plate. these are the days when i seriously consider permanently deleting my wordpress account and/or moving to santa barbara.
i do this a lot- occupy coffee shops and try to write. about muffins, currently.
a thanksgiving favorite at my house.
i am very busy today. (and i love it!)

November had a few great highlights, some of which I’ve already blogged about, some of which I am going to blog about. So rather than spoil future posts, I’ll let you read the captions to find out about this month (if you’re even interested).
I spent this final day of November in Kansas City, where it is currently too cold for life. I bought a couple of ingredients that I cannot wait to use (hint: in ice cream), drank a great cappuccino, and finished the day off with pizza at Whole Foods.
December is almost here, folks!!!!
