I love to do things with my hands other than type and click. In the kitchen, I love to crack eggs, whisk brownie batter, knead bread, etc. When it comes to crafting, I love to cut paper, use rubber stamps, and tape things together.
It would be great to be able to buy fun supplies all of the time and have a well stocked arsenal, but that just can’t happen. I do my best to make do with what I have on hand- some blank kraft paper cards + envelopes, a pack of construction paper from Target, a few rolls of washi tape, some stamps, plenty of Sharpies… things like that.
So, as long as you have a few pieces of construction paper, a pair of scissors, and a roll of tape (or glue), you can make this card! Continue reading →
Downloading new fonts is kind of a hobby of mine. I have never spent a penny on them, opting instead to search sites like Font Squirrel because… at this point in my life I’d rather buy coffee than letters. I do however have a small wish list of paid fonts to invest in someday :)
Anyways, all four of the fonts above are new discoveries. I love them all, but especially Glamor. I hope you’ll find them useful!
Several years ago a handful of my friends and I started sending each other letters rather than emails. There was something so thrilling about getting a real letter in the daily mail delivery. In my bottom dresser drawer, I have a two stacks of catalogues. One contains J. Crew catalogues dating back to 2007; the other, Anthropologie catalogues from 2009-ish to present.
