IMG_1406-1I almost didn’t participate in Twosday today, but then I went swimming at my grandparents’ house and Martin (the dog) was outside. So I grabbed my phone and figured I’d snap a few photos.

It took all of 45 seconds, because right after I snapped the first photo Martin let out a bark more fierce than you would think a dog as small and cute as he is could manage and lunged at me (evidenced by the blurry photo).

And that’s the first and last time I ever try to photograph Martin.

twosday | symmetry twosday | symmetry The prompt for Twosday this week excited me when I first read it, and then I ended up having the hardest time deciding which pictures to use! In the end I settled on these semi-portraits. They make use of natural lines and shadows- two of my favorite elements.

Twentieth Street

I’ve been following along with Stephanie Court’s photography project, Twosday, for a while now. Now that I’ve finally jumped in, I hope to participate more in future weeks!
